Over the past number of years we have built up our Healthcare distribution business through acquisition and organic growth.
The SISK GROUP diversified into Healthcare in March 2006, acquiring five medical device distribution companies that operate under the umbrella structure, SISK Healthcare. It has a combined annual turnover of €100 million. It comprises over 210+ employees, 75+ in sales and support, 32 technicians, as well as a specific clinical training & educational department.

MED
In January 1993 M.E.D. Surgical was established as an Irish distributor company specialising in Operating Room products. With the advent of the “Laparoscopic Surgery revolution”, M.E.D. Surgical established themselves as the market leader in the distribution of laparoscopic equipment.
Since then, the company has grown significantly with estimated sales of €15 million for 2008 and keeping OR products as its major focus.
Cardiac Services
Cardiac Services Group was founded in Belfast in 1969. It is at the forefront of supplying and supporting diagnostic and measurement equipment in Ireland and the UK with specific focus on ICU, Coronary Care, Theatre and Maternity. The pre-hospital division specialises in the supply of AEDs, training devices and primary care/GP supplies.
In 2007 SISK Healthcare acquired Beaver Medical which trades under Cardiac Services, SISK GROUP in the UK.

TEKNO Surgical
TEKNO Surgical has undergone consistent growth and development throughout all areas of its business activities since its foundation in 1996. Originally the company specialised in Maxillofacial and ENT products but soon afterwards expanded into Orthopaedics and from there has added many other areas of speciality products and it is now regarded as the premier, privately owned surgical products distributor in Ireland representing world class manufacturers who themselves are often the leaders in their field.
